    To evaluate the energy metabolism in Alzheimer's disease (AD), the cerebral arteriovenous differences of oxygen, glucose, lactate, pyruvate, ketone bodies and free fatty acids, and regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) were examined in 7 patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD).
